You may need someone to disassemble & repair the remote. If both of these steps check out it is possible your device has a broken/cracked solder joint securing the device's terminals to its circuit board. You may be able to use tweezers or similar to stretch the device's terminals. Some batteries have flatter terminals so the device's contacts don't reach them solidly. Check the terminal are reaching the battery surfaces with a bit of tension on them.
